## Comparator Module

### Overview
The "Comparator" module in the KNX device is designed to perform advanced comparison operations between two inputs and generate specific outputs based on the results. The module features two inputs and two outputs and offers a range of customization options. It can be enabled or disabled through a specific gate object, providing flexibility in its operation.

### Key Parameters

#### General Settings
- ***Module Name***: The default name is set to "Comparator," but this can be customized. The chosen name is automatically applied to object names and page names within the module.

- ***Gate Object***: This is an input object that serves as a gatekeeper for the module. It controls whether the module is enabled or disabled.

- ***Gate Object Remember State on Bus Recovery***: This setting allows the module to remember the last state of the gate object after a power outage, ensuring continuity in operations.

#### Input Settings
- ***Input 1 Type and Value***:
  - **Type**: Can be set to 'Object' to receive data from a KNX object or 'Static' to use a fixed value.
  - **Value Type**: Specifies the data type (1 bit, 2 bit, etc.).
  - **Static Value**: If 'Static' is selected for Type, this value will be used for comparisons.

- ***Input 2 Type and Value***:
  - Similar settings as Input 1, allowing for either dynamic or static data for comparisons.

#### Comparison Operations
- ***Operation***: Defines the type of comparison to be performed between Input 1 and Input 2. Options include:
  - **Equality (Input 1 = Input 2)**
  - **Inequality (Input 1 <> Input 2)**
  - **Greater Than (Input 1 > Input 2)**
  - **Less Than (Input 1 < Input 2)**
  - **Greater Than or Equal To (Input 1 >= Input 2)**
  - **Less Than or Equal To (Input 1 <= Input 2)**

#### Output Settings
- ***Output False State***:
  - **Output Type**: Defines the type of output when the comparison is false. Options include 'Static', 'Last value from Input 1', and 'Last value from Input 2'.
  - **Value Type**: Specifies the data type for the output.
  - **Static Value**: If 'Static' is selected, this value will be sent as the output.

- ***Output True State***:
  - Similar settings as 'Output False State', but these apply when the comparison operation is true.

## Purpose
- To provide a highly customizable and advanced comparison functionality between two inputs.
- To enable specific outputs based on the comparison results, facilitating complex automation tasks.

## Usage
This feature should be configured during the initial setup in the ETS software. It offers a wide range of customization options to suit specific use-cases and can be adjusted as needed.
