## Delay Module

### Overview
The "Delay" module in the KNX device serves to introduce a specified time delay for an input signal before it is sent back to the KNX bus as an output. This module uses a single KNX object for both input and output, making it a straightforward yet powerful tool for time-based control.

#### General Settings
- ***Module Name***: The default name is "Delay," but this can be customized. The chosen name is automatically applied to object names and page names within the module.

#### Object Settings
- ***Object Type***: Allows you to choose the length of the input/output object. Options include 1 bit, 2 bit, 1 byte, and 2 byte.

#### Delay Settings
- ***Delay Retrigger***: Determines whether the delay timer will reset and restart if a new input signal is received before the current delay period is completed.

- ***Delay***: Specifies the time duration for which the input will be delayed before being sent out as output.

## Purpose
- To introduce a time delay for incoming signals, providing additional control over how and when signals are sent to the KNX bus.

## Usage
This feature should be configured during the initial setup in the ETS software. It offers a simple yet effective way to introduce time-based control in your KNX system, and can be adjusted as needed for specific use-cases.
