# Input Module

## Overview
- The Input module in your KNX panel device is versatile and can be used for various functions.
- This module allows for detailed configuration of inputs for different applications, enhancing control and automation capabilities in your KNX system.

## Key Parameters

### General Settings
- ***Module Name***: Default name is "Input" but can be customized. The chosen name is applied to object and page names within the module.
- ***Gate Object***: Activates an object to enable or disable the module.
- ***Gate Object Remember State on Bus Recovery***: Option for the gate object to remember its state after a power outage.

### Input Function Settings
- ***Input Function***: Multiple functionalities can be selected:
  - **Disabled**: Disables the module.
  - **On-off-toggle**: Sends 0-1 values using a 1-bit object.

	- ***Input Press Action***: Response when the input is short-circuited.

	- ***Input Release Action***: Response when the input returns to normal state.

  - **Dimming**: Activates dimming output.

	- ***Command on Pressing the Button***: Response when the button is pressed.

	- ***Dimming Darker By***: Value sent for dimming down.

	- ***Dimming Brighter By***: Value sent for brightening up.

	- ***Stop Telegram***: Option to send a dimming stop telegram when the button is released.

	- ***Time Between Switching and Dimming***: Sets how long a press is considered as a long press for dimming function.

  - **Shutter/Blind**: Configures input for shutter, blind, or venetian control.

	- ***Function of Shutter Button***: Options include Down, Up, or Toggle for control direction.

	- ***Operation Concept***: Choose between "Move-step" or "Step-move-step".

	- ***Time Between Step and Move Operation***: Determines the duration of press for short or full-length movements.

	- ***Lamella Adjustment Time***: Sets the time for venetian blind slat adjustments.

  - **Value**: Sends 1 byte or 1 bit values.

	- ***Sending Value Count***: Choose between "1 Value" or "2 Value".

	- ***Operation Concept***: Select from "Always two telegrams," "Short press-long press," or "On press-on release."

	- ***Type of Object 1-2***: Determines the type of value sent by the objects.

  - **Temperature Sensor**: Measures temperature using an NTC accessory and sends data to the KNX bus.

	- ***Temperature Sensor Calibration***: Calibrate using the provided 10k resistor. Attach the resistor to the input; it should display 25°C.If there's a discrepancy (e.g., it shows 25.7°C), adjust by entering the offset (e.g., -0.7) in this parameter. This calibration ensures accurate temperature readings.

	- ***Temperature Sending Type***: Choose "Send on change" or "Send cyclically".

	- ***Send Value on Change***: Sets the temperature change required to send an update.

	- ***Periodic Temperature Sending***: Sets how often the temperature is sent to the bus.

  - **Brightness Sensor**: Measures light intensity in lux using an LDR accessory.

	- ***Brightness Sensor Calibration***: Calibrate with the provided 10k resistor. When connected to the input, it should indicate 65 lux. Adjust the reading by entering the difference in this parameter. For instance, if it reads 75 lux, enter -1 to calibrate. This step ensures the brightness readings are precise and reliable.

	- ***Brightness Sending Type***: Select "Send on change" or "Send cyclically".

	- ***Send Value on Change***: Determines the change in light intensity required to send an update.
