## IR Repeater Module: Codes Configuration

### Overview
The "Codes" page within the IR Repeater module is dedicated to the management of the infrared signal library. On this page, users can learn new IR commands from physical remotes, view raw data, manually edit code frequencies, and synchronize the IR database between the ETS software and the physical device.

### Key Parameters
- ***All Codes - Read button***: Initiates a process to read all active IR codes currently stored in the device's physical memory and saves them into the ETS project. This is essential for backing up learned codes or cloning the configuration to a new device without repeating the learning process.
- ***All Codes - Write button***: Downloads all valid and active IR codes currently defined in the ETS project to the device's memory.
- ***IR Code [x] - Read button***: Reads the specific IR code data for the selected slot number from the device. This action also verifies the device memory to update the "State" parameter.
- ***IR Code [x] - Write button***: Writes the specific IR code data from ETS to the device's memory.
- ***IR Code [x] - Learn button***: Sets the device into "Learning Mode" for the specific slot. The device waits (max. 10 seconds) for an IR signal. If a signal is detected and recorded successfully, the State changes to "Learned"; otherwise, it remains "Not learned."
- ***IR Code [x] - State***: Displays the synchronization status of the memory slot, indicating whether a valid code is currently stored in the device's physical memory (e.g., "Learned", "Not learned").
- ***IR Code [x] - Frequency***: Defines the carrier frequency (e.g., 38 kHz) used when transmitting the IR data.
- ***IR Code [x] - Data***: Displays the raw hexadecimal string of the IR command. ETS validates this field to ensure the format is correct. This data string can be manually copied and pasted to other channels or devices and then uploaded using the "Write" button.

### Purpose
- To capture and digitize physical IR remote commands (Learning).
- To store and organize up to 64 distinct IR codes within the ETS project.
- To allow the transfer of IR configurations between the ETS software and the physical hardware.

### Usage & Important Notes
This page is used during the commissioning phase to build the command database.

### Important Configuration Notes:
- ***ETS Download vs. Page Buttons***: A standard ETS application download does not write the IR codes to the device memory. You must use the "Write" or "Write All" buttons on this specific page to transfer the codes to the device.
- ***Learning & Saving***: When a code is "Learned" via the button, it is immediately stored in the device and is operational. However, to back it up or copy it to another channel, you must first click "Read" to pull the data into ETS.
- ***Copying Codes***: To duplicate a code to another device, "Read" the data, copy the text from the "Data" field, paste it into the target channel's data field, and click "Write".
- ***Deleting & Replacing***: To delete a code from the device memory, clear the text in the "Data" field and click "Write". To replace a code, simply perform the "Learn" action again; deletion is not required before re-learning.
